#SCGS Veggie Balls
Ingredients
100g Bulgur wheat
1 cup Cold water
Pinch Salt
1 small Onion, roughly chopped
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 stick Celery, roughly chopped
1 large Carrot, roughly chopped
2 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM
½ cup Breadcrumbs
1 large Egg
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Soak the bulgur wheat in cold water for 20 minutes, rinse and drain.
Put 1 cup cold water in a pot, add the bulgur wheat and salt, and bring to the boil. Simmer until all the liquid has evaporated and the bulgur wheat is cooked.
Place the onion, garlic, celery and carrot in a food processor and blitz until fine. Transfer into a mixing bowl and add the cooked bulgur wheat, Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM, breadcrumbs and egg. Mix with your hands until well combined.
Shape the mixture into round balls, then place on a lightly greased baking tray. Bake until cooked, about 15-20 minutes.
