#SCGS Vegetable Lo Mein
Ingredients
100 g Noodles
3 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Pasta water
3 Tbsp Oil
1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Mixed peppers (red, yellow and green)
1 cup Red cabbage
1 cup Baby corn
Method
Cook the noodles according to the package directions, then drain. While the noodles are cooking, stir together the soy sauce, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™, sesame seeds, sugar and water. Heat the cooking oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is very hot and shimmering, add the vegetables and stir-fry for only about 1 minute, or until the edges of the softer vegetables just begin to wilt. Add the cooked and drained noodles and the prepared sauce. Continue to stir and cook until the pasta has absorbed most of the sauce and no more liquid pools on the bottom of the pan (about 2 minutes). The vegetables will soften further during this time. Serve immediately.
Tip: Serve with teriyaki sauce and chillies.
