#SCGS Sticky Sweet Chilli & Garlic Pork Bites

Ingredients
¼ cup (60 ml) Sweet chilli sauce
2 Tbsp (30 ml) Soy sauce
4 Garlic cloves, finely minced
1 Tbsp (15 ml) fresh Ginger, finely grated
1 Tbsp (15 ml) Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
1 tsp (5 ml) Smoked paprika (optional)
1 Tbsp (15 ml) Oil
1 Tbsp (15 ml) Butter
500 g Pork fillet (or pork loin), cut into bite-sized cubes
2 Spring onions, thinly sliced
Sesame seeds, toasted (optional)
Method
In a large bowl, combine the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™ and smoked paprika.
Add the pork and toss until well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for even more flavour.
Heat the oil and butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary. Sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Pour any remaining marinade into the pan and cook for a further 1–2 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens and coats the pork.
Garnish with the sliced spring onions and toasted sesame seeds, if using.
Tip
Serve these sticky sweet chilli pork bites over fluffy steamed rice to soak up all the delicious sauce. Add a crisp side salad or steamed vegetables for a simple, flavour-packed family meal.
