#SCGS Sprite® Battered Hake Fillets
Ingredients
1 cup Flour
1 Tbsp Cornflour
1 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Mixed herbs
220 ml Sprite (you can substitute with sparkling water)
5 Hake fillets
2 cups Vegetable oil for deep frying
Method
Place flour, cornflour, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™, black pepper, paprika, mixed herbs and Sprite® in a bowl and whisk together until batter is smooth and lump-free.
Heat oil in a saucepan.
Coat each piece of fish with batter, carefully place in the oil and fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
Serve with chips and/or salad, and tatar sauce.
