#SCGS Mince Shakshuka
Ingredients
2 Tbsp Oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
1 Green pepper, diced
200 g Beef mince
2 tsp Paprika
2 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM
2 Tbsp Tomato paste
1 cup Tomato sauce
1 cup Beef stock
1 can Baked beans
4 large Eggs
Fresh parsley to garnish
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and green pepper and cook for 1 minute.
Add the mince. Stir in the paprika, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning TM, tomato paste, tomato sauce and stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the baked beans.
Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish. Make 4 indentations in the top, and crack an egg into each one. Cook in the oven, covered, until the eggs are cooked.
Garnish with parsley.
TIP: Serve warm with bread.
