#SCGS Compound Butter on Toasted Ciabatta
Ingredients – Compound Butter
200 g Butter at room temperature
1 tsp Chilli flakes
1 tsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
1 Tbsp finely chopped Parsley
1 Tbsp Coriander
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Method – Compound Butter
1. In a bowl, combine the butter, chilli flakes, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™, parsley, coriander, garlic and Parmesan cheese.
2. Mix until smooth. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
Ingredients – Ciabatta
4 Tbsp Compound butter
4 slices Ciabatta
3 Eggs, scrambled
2 Avocados, sliced
Method – Ciabatta
1. Generously spread the butter on both sides of each slice of ciabatta and toast in a pan (and turning halfway through) until golden in colour.
2. Top with scrambled eggs and avocado.
Tip: Compound butter can be used to make garlic rolls/bread, and when preparing sides for braai meals.
