#SCGS Chicken & Halloumi Skewers
Ingredients
500 g Deboned and skinless chicken thighs
300 g Halloumi cheese
2 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™️
1/3 cup Oil
½ cup Lemon juice
2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
1 medium Lemon, zested
1 Tbsp Dried mixed herbs
Method
Rinse thighs and pat dry. Place all the ingredients (except the chicken and cheese) into a bowl and mix. Pour mixture into a Ziploc bag, add thighs, seal bag and marinate in the refrigerator. Cut halloumi into medium-size bites. After 30 minutes, remove the marinated thighs from the refrigerator. Thread thighs onto skewers, alternating with cheese pieces. Grill for 8 to 10 minutes or until meat is done to your liking.
TIP: Vegetables can be substituted for halloumi.
