#SCGS Cheesy Potato Cakes
Ingredients
6 Large potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
1 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1,5 cups Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 cup Fresh chives, chopped
1 Egg
1 cup Flour
2 cups Breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
Method
In a bowl, mix potatoes, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™, salt, pepper, cheese, chives, egg and flour until well combined. Using your hands, make round balls, and then press to form a cake shape (similar to a fish cake). Heat oil in a non-stick pan. While oil is heating, place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl. Coat both sides of the cakes with breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.
Tip: Best served with sour cream.
