#SCGS Cheesy Pap Balls
Ingredients
2 cups Maize meal
1 L Oil
2 cups Breadcrumbs
2 large Eggs
3 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™️
½ cup Gouda cheese, cubed
Method
Cook pap as per packet instructions. Heat oil in a deep pot. Place breadcrumbs in a bowl. In another bowl, beat eggs with Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™️. Scoop pap into balls using an ice cream scoop. Using the end of a fork or your finger, make a hole in each ball and insert a cube of cheese, and close over the hole with pap. Dip each ball into egg mixture before coating with breadcrumbs. Make sure each ball is well coated in crumbs before deep frying until crispy and golden.
Tip: Best served warm.
