1 tsp Oil
½ Onion, minced
4 cloves Garlic, crushed
250 g Mushrooms, finely chopped
2 cups or 1 tin cooked Lentils
2 tsp Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM
½ tsp Paprika
½ tsp dried Oregano
½ tsp Chilli powder
1 Egg
¼ cup Breadcrumbs
handful fresh Parsley, finely chopped
1 bottle store-bought Pasta sauce


Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan on medium heat. Add the onion and fry until translucent, about 2 minutes. 
Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and cook until brown.
Add the lentils and stir. 
Season with the Seven Colours Grill SeasoningTM, paprika, oregano and chilli powder, and mix. Leave to cool.
Once cool, add the egg, breadcrumbs and parsley. Mix well. 
Using your hands, form the mixture into balls and place them on an oven tray. Bake for 35 minutes.
Pour the pasta sauce into a pan and heat. 
When it’s simmering, add the meatballs.
TIP: Serve with a bowl of cooked pasta or rice.
