1 whole chicken
Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
4 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
8 Rainbow carrots
2 Red onions, cut in wedges
1 piece Ginger, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Honey
½ Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Chilli flakes
¼ cup Fresh lime juice


Preheat the oven to 180°C. Season chicken generously with Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™ inside and out. Place garlic inside the chicken and tie the legs together. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes covered. Combine carrots, onion, ginger, butter, honey, salt, chilli flakes and lime juice in an oven dish. Place chicken on top, nestling it into the vegetables. Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours, then uncover, turn oven off and let the chicken rest in the oven until it’s golden.
Tip: Serve with rice and salads.
