½ cup Lentils 
1 Tbsp Oil 
1 Onion, finely chopped 
1 tsp Garlic, crushed
1 large Potato, diced 
1 large Carrot, diced 
1 can Tomato, peeled and chopped 
2 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™️
1 tsp Cayenne pepper 
1 cup Vegetable stock
Salt and pepper for seasoning


Boil lentils for 10 minutes, strain and set aside. In a large pot, heat oil on medium and sauté onion and garlic until translucent. Stir in potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™️ and cayenne pepper. Mix well and cook until vegetables are tender. Add stock and lentils and cook on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until soup thickens. If soup is runny, mix a bit of flour and cold water together and then stir this into the soup. Season with salt and pepper. Allow to simmer and serve immediately.
TIP: Best served with ciabatta bread.
