½ cup sugar
½ cup lemon juice
10 ml wholegrain mustard
15 ml Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
5 ml cayenne pepper
4 garlic cloves (crushed)
Handful fresh ginger (minced)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
350 g fresh rocket
1 medium red onion (sliced)
Handful cherry tomatoes (cut in halves)
15 ml sesame seeds
Sirloin steak


Season the sirloin steak with Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™. Set aside. In a saucepan, add sugar, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, cayenne pepper, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper. Cook it on a low heat until the sauce reduces and thickens. Braai the steak and keep basting the sauce on the steak until cooked. Cool it down and slice the steak. In a salad bowl mix rocket, cherry tomatoes, red onion and sesame seeds. Place the slices of steak in the salad, and use leftover sauce as dressing.
